Any person or troop is welcome to host a community or money earning events, if in compliance.
To be considered as such, a troop must:
Fill out an events proposal form (online form)
Money Earning Event Request forms (F-32) - needs to be completed and turned it for approval if your event is a money earning event. check on the GSSJC guidelines below for it to qualify.
Have at least 2 registered trained leaders in the troop
Have participated in Fall Product (for money earning event)
Have participated in Cookie Sale (for money earning event)
Have at least two signers on the troop bank account
Have turned in the end of year Financial Report F-31 and F-36 form to WOW.
Have one troop leader to have taken Event Basics Training or Weekend Events Training. For more info, go to the GS Training Website.
Have no outstanding Event Reports from prior events held
Be in good standing with Council.
Events run for the Community can have pre-approved reimbursement requests. Reimbursement form and Receipts must be turned in to the WOW treasurer no later then 30 days from the receipt date or the day of the event. If you are hosting a money earning event you may not request reimbursement for the event.

Registration (NOTE: HIGHLIGHTED.... GSSJC and United Way logo required somewhere on the flier AND statement of Financial assistance available)
Upon completion of Event - Event chair is required to complete Event Report and turn it in to woweventfun@gmail.com - needs to be completed within 3 days of completing the activity.
